Nick, who has a decade of experience as a relocation consultant, started Retirelocate as a result of his own experiences in finding retirement accommodation for his father-in-law. His aim is to help people with this daunting and confusing process by guiding them through the search for a new home that suits their lifestyle and budget.

In 1991 Nick and his wife Elizabeth, founded Woodhams Relocation Centre, a successful company that helps employees and their families become established in a new city or country after being relocated by their employers.

The Woodhams International team in Sydney and Melbourne, have assisted more than 5,000 people from over 250 organisations to ensure a successful domestic or international relocation.

Nick qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse and worked with the firm in the UK, Brazil, and Sydney. He later served as Finance Director of a financial services organisation.

Nick has maintained an active role in the community for many years including as Coordinator of the 1988 Apex Australia Life Education Service Project, National Board Member of The Association of Apex Clubs, Assistant Scout Leader, volunteer for the Sydney Olympics 2000, Honorary Finance Manager of The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Australia, and currently as convenor of "The Thinkers" providing a regular program of stimulating activities at a residential aged-care facility in Sydney
